RedArc Case study

RedArc long-term 1:1 nurse support

RedArc provide added value support services through a number of insurers, such as Royal London. Just one of a number of added value service providers insurers use, and the below illustrates what someone might get if they need support – other services may differ.

Fertility problems are obviously very personal and stressful for couples and the 2 partners often deal with this stress in different ways which can often compound the difficult situation. Issues can be varied, partners often feel guilty that they are causing the problem, there may be feelings of inadequacy, jealousy that the other partner has other children, difficulty coping with friends & family becoming pregnant etc.

Fertility treatment is usually an emotional roller-coaster – hormone treatment, frequent scans and blood test and sometimes surgery to harvest viable sperm. There are many points when hopes are raised and often many when things are not going so well. Not everyone has a happy outcome.

RedArc provides long-term 1:1 nurse support and can support couples with fertility issues. Often the 2 individuals are supported separately, allowing them to talk confidentially about how they are feeling.
