Purpose of the Role
Salary – up to £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience), plus bonus and benefits

We are currently looking for a Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team in Sale. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to development, delivery and management of SBG’s marketing campaign activity with close monitoring, evaluation and reporting to support the marketing strategy, commercial objectives and future developments. This is a newly created role to support the strategic direction of the department.
This role offers you the opportunity to:
- To work with Communications and be accountable for defining, helping develop and deliver marketing campaigns aligned to commercial objectives on behalf of the Head of Marketing & Insight, with input from key marketing and commercial stakeholders.
- Assessing the impact of campaigns and providing insight to the business to guide future development.
- Support the development and implementation of the marketing strategy and plans with insight from campaigns and wider marketing activity.
- To manage creative development for campaigns, including the management of agency partners where needed; work with Marketing Operations Executive to ensure activity is approved by relevant stakeholders (including Compliance).
- To implement and monitor marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with SBG objectives.
- To work with the Insight Executive to measure the performance of marketing campaigns and make recommendations for future campaigns using key MI and data to measure outputs.
- To manage the development of branding, positioning, communications and other marketing artefacts.
- To undertake ad hoc marketing projects and duties as and when required, to support the needs of the business or to achieve departmental objectives.

- Proven experience of creatively developing marketing campaigns.
Ability to support strategic direction of plans working with stakeholders across the function and wider business. - Confident working alongside agency partners where appropriate to develop plans and bring campaigns to life and familiar with managing external suppliers.
- Able to translate commercial objectives and market insight into effective marketing campaigns.
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including presentation skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Commercially astute – able to analyse marketing and trend data, extract meaningful insights and make decisions.
- Understanding of marketing campaign processes, from concept development through to evaluation, with experience of developing effective end-to-end marketing campaigns.
- Experience and understanding of the financial services sector.
