This role is the creative lead on all things brand at Sesame Bankhall Group (SBG). The Lead Graphic Designer is responsible for all work produced by SBG’s Design Studio, working closely with the Group Marketing team to deliver exceptional artwork and creative across SBG and its associated brands.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Brand & Communications Manager to set the strategic direction for the visual articulation of SBG and its brands.
• Responsible for the ongoing evolution and development of SBG’s brand identities.
• Ownership of SBG brand guidelines, ensuring SBG’s brand identities are codified, interpreted and communicated accordingly.
• Guardian of SBG brand and all associated brands.
• Responsible for all work produced by Design Studio, providing mentoring, coaching and technical support to Design Studio team, and allocating Design Studio resource according to priority and deliverables.
• Design and produce highly creative, impactful marketing and promotional materials in-line with business objectives and requirements.
• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring all design work is produced on time and in-line with brand guidelines, to a high standard.
• Build close working relationships with Group Marketing team to facilitate the smooth delivery of briefs.
• Provide first-line sign-off on all work produced by Design Studio team to ensure all briefs are met, delivered within brand guidelines, and artwork set-up is appropriate for the brief at-hand.
• Responsible for version control for all collateral produced by the Design Studio.
• Oversee and manage the use of images and templates across SBG to ensure compliance with copyright requirements and brand guidelines.
• Supporting with print procurement, including sourcing and management of providers, as well as maintaining up-to-date knowledge of prices, materials, processes and deadlines/delivery, as required.
• Responsible for ongoing knowledge development of key design trends, tools and techniques.

    • Strong proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office

    • Strong teamwork. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously whilst maintaining close attention to detail

        Qualifications required

          Experience required

          • Previous experience in design

          Desirable

          • Experience using Adobe After Effects and Premier Pro to create animated video graphics (non-essential)
