Campaign Manager

Purpose of the Role
To design, execute and evaluate SBG’s campaign activity, in support of the marketing strategy and commercial objectives.
Responsibilities
Campaign strategy and planning
- Develop and implement integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns to support the delivery of our strategic marketing objectives.
- Focussing on digital touchpoints, build campaign plans to generate and nurture leads. Work closely with the distribution teams to ensure qualified leads are handed over and tracked.
- Work with key stakeholders to monitor, evaluate and optimise campaign performance.
Campaign management
- Work closely with colleagues from insight, distribution and strategy to effectively align channels with target audiences, including paid media, organic search and email.
- Oversee campaign plans, ensuring delivery is managed in line with business needs.
- Work with creative teams, including agency partners, to deliver compelling designs that are aligned to our brand identity.
- Liaise with colleagues from Compliance to ensure that all campaigns are delivered in accordance with relevant regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the business to align campaign activity to business needs, adapting plans where necessary.
Team management
- Manage a team of two colleagues based in India responsible for reporting and email marketing data.

- Degree or professional marketing qualification
Experience required
Essential
- Experience of developing effective end-to-end multi-channel campaigns
- Experience of the media buying process and managing budgets aligned to this activity
- Experience of managing external suppliers

- Experience of marketing in the financial services sector

Our Approach to Risk Management
- You will require an awareness of operational and regulatory risk, which may impact on SBG. You will be responsible for reporting to their line manager any risk which may impact on the business.

- You will be required to deliver your role competently and comply with the relevant standards and procedures, ensuring that SBG deliver a service where suitable advice is given to the end consumer, which is adequately recorded and ultimately promotes good customer outcomes. This can either be through direct influence or in a support services capacity.

- You will be required to highlight to your line manager procedures and processes that may impact on SBG’s ability to deliver good outcomes for retail customers and/or may lead to foreseeable harm. Where possible and relevant to your department, put forward suggestions that could positively impact the outcomes achieved by retail customers.
Information Security
- You will need to be aware of all information security principles, policies and procedures and ensure these are followed on a day-to-day basis. You will be required to remain vigilant at all times and report any security concerns, suspicions and/or breaches in a timely manner.
